It’s Fall, which means that Boot Frenzy is in full force. Similar to Flip Flop frenzy of April…only backwards.
I love boots as much as the next girl, but being a housewife doesn’t give me a ton of opportunity to wear them. Most days my uniform consists of yoga pants, some type of t-shirt or hoodie and a pair of TOMS. Or lately, THESE (which are expensive, but worth every penny…I could wear those things in my sleep). So spending hundreds of dollars for a pair of boots I might wear twice a month isn’t always very practical. So in the name of thriftiness, here are some boots I found that will totally give you the cute boot look without causing you to scrounge for change to buy groceries.
Not that any of us would ever buy boots with grocery money. Ahem.
These Miss Me Knee High boots are available on Amazon.com for $49.99. They come in brown, tan, or black and totally fit the biker boot trend that is so big right now.
These boots are from Shoedazzle, and if you’re unfamiliar, Shoedazzle is a great way to get cute shoes on the cheap. Basically a shoe of the month club, Shoedazzle offers you a variety of shoes monthly. You can choose one pair for $39.99 (includes shipping). If you don’t want a pair of shoes that month, just decline all selections and you won’t be charged anything!
These leather boots from Target have a distressed, “worn-in” look. The reviews are great (although some say the leather is stiff and takes a few to break in) and they are only $49.99.
So there you go, five pairs of boots for under $50 each. Or five pairs of boots for under $250 total. I mean, if you’re the kind of girl who buys five pairs of boots at a time (and if you DO, please don’t tell your husband it’s my fault–I have enough to explain to my own husband).
Thanks for reading and happy shopping!!
