Fall Boots Under $50

It’s Fall, which means that Boot Frenzy is in full force.  Similar to Flip Flop frenzy of April…only backwards.

I love boots as much as the next girl, but being a housewife doesn’t give me a ton of opportunity to wear them.  Most days my uniform consists of yoga pants, some type of t-shirt or hoodie and a pair of TOMS.  Or lately, THESE (which are expensive, but worth every penny…I could wear those things in my sleep).  So spending hundreds of dollars for a pair of boots I might wear twice a month isn’t always very practical.  So in the name of thriftiness, here are some boots I found that will totally give you the cute boot look without causing you to scrounge for change to buy groceries.

Not that any of us would ever buy boots with grocery money. Ahem.

These Miss Me Knee High boots are available on Amazon.com for $49.99.  They come in brown, tan, or black and totally fit the biker boot trend that is so big right now.

These boots are from Shoedazzle, and if you’re unfamiliar, Shoedazzle is a great way to get cute shoes on the cheap.  Basically a shoe of the month club,  Shoedazzle offers you a variety of shoes monthly.  You can choose one pair for $39.99  (includes shipping).  If you don’t want a pair of shoes that month, just decline all selections and you won’t be charged anything!

I have been loving the “folded over” boots, and these Madden Girl boots from Shoes.com are only $47.99 and completely adorable.  They’re also available in black.

These knee-high boots are only $42.99 from NectarClothing.com and are available in black, chocolate, taupe and cognac (shown).  Shipping is only $7, so you’ll still get in under $50.

These leather boots from Target have a distressed, “worn-in” look.  The reviews are great (although some say the leather is stiff and takes a few to break in) and they are only $49.99.

So there you go, five pairs of boots for under $50 each.  Or five pairs of boots for under $250 total.  I mean, if you’re the kind of girl who buys five pairs of boots at a time (and if you DO, please don’t tell your husband it’s my fault–I have enough to explain to my own husband).

Thanks for reading and happy shopping!!

Thanks for sharing! I’ve been on the hunt for boots too but can’t seem to justify the $129 that the Jessica Simpson “Cordelia” boots cost. Although I LOVE them. ;)

This is great!! I have plans to buy my first pair of boot this year. I’m in AZ and boots only apply to 3 months of the year. But i’m getting some now, don’t judge that it’s taken me this long. I have to have the Nectar Clothing boots. Good call ladies.

And for anyone wondering about Shoe Dazzle, I’ve been a member for close to a year now. I think they still give you 50% off the first pair when you sign up. If you don’t like the shoes they pick for you, they’ll give you a different selection, and they have an awesome return policy. Return shipping is free. I traded my first purchase 3 times to find something I was happy with…it was no biggie. I was pgrenant and ordering hooker heels. I finally gave in and got a pair of 1 1/2″ heels instead of the 4″ red cheeta print heels I was meant for. *sigh*

One day when the hamhocks that currently reside on my calves decide to vacate so that I can wear boots, I will get a pair that come up to my thighs ala Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman whilst I have a friend (or hire someone) to say “work iiiiiit, work it, ownnnnn it!!!” Of course by then moccasins will probably be en vogue.

I need some boots under 50$ for size 12W! That size seems nearly impossible to find cute, quality shoes…unless you can pay 200+ and I cannot. : ) So if anyone knows of any good places to find that size… please let me know! :)
