Friday here! That means it’s cocktail time!! Yup!
I have been on a diet recently and haven’t really had any alcoholic beverages.
Because, quite frankly, if I’m gonna go on a calorie binge, I’m not an alcohol girl, I’m more of a cheesecake girl.
But that’s why today’s drink is so great.
It’s a skinny cocktail…
I’m totally hopping on the Bethenny bandwagon. I mean, she’s gone from Real Housewife to bagilliionairre…which is totally what I want to be. A bagillionairre, not a Real Housewife. Umm, well, that’s a lie..I would totally be a Real Housewife. So, yeah…
Anyway, she has made mucho dinero on skinny drinks…and no doubt, those bottles ain’t cheap!
So why not make a skinny version at home? Yeah, sounds like a plan.
I’m totally on my way to being a super skinny-bagillionairre-Real Housewife. I can feel it.
This is a seasonal skinny drink, perfect for fall.
Skinny Apple Cider Punch
1 1/2 oz vanilla rum
2 oz low-sugar apple cider (or low sugar apple juice)
1 1/2 oz diet ginger ale
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and give it a gentle shake.
Strain and pour into your glass.
Garnish with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick
