It’s Cocktail Friday, yo!!
Not only is it Cocktail Friday, but it’s opening day of Breaking Dawn in theaters!!
I realize that some of you are bleary eyed and grumpy due to lack of sleep–because you spent your night/morning at the midnight showing last night. And although I appreciate your enthusiasm, I am sort of judging you.
Or maybe I’m just jealous because I spent my night making cookies for my husband to take to Deer Camp and reading Junie B. Jones. Whatevs.
Anyways. I’m assuming that since it’s Vampire Weekend, you need a cool cocktail to kick start the festivities with the home girls.
How about a White Chocolate Strawberry Twilight Shooter?
You’ll need:
1 cup frozen, sliced strawberries
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 oz vodka
4 oz White Chocolate Liqueur (I used Godiva)
Dark Chocolate Syrup (I used Hershey’s Special Dark…you can use regular but it won’t look as black)
In a blender, blend the strawberries, sugar, and vodka until smooth. Divide into 4 tall shooter glasses. Top with White Chocolate Liqueur and drizzle chocolate syrup over the rim.
Drink and then go get your vampire party on!!
