{I LOVE} Too Faced Eyeshadow Palettes

I am a self admitted make-up hoarder.

But of all the cosmetics that I collect and covet and stash away to look at and treasure…Too Faced Eyeshadow Palettes are probably my biggest weakness.

The colors are gorgeous, the packaging is adorable…

And each palette comes with instruction cards to create three looks:  Day (more casual and subdued), Night (“going out” eyes), and Fashion (a more attention grabbing look).

As you can see, I usually throw caution to the wind and use the night look card for the day time.  Some people would call that tacky but I call it having an “over glamorization issue”.

(please excuse the photo, I took it on my iPhone)

Right now, I own four Too Faced Palettes.

The Smokey Eye Palette

The Natural Eye Palette

The Naked Eye Palette  (see how the pink if the only one worn all the way down?  I’m soooo predictable)

And last but not least…

The Enchanted Glamorland set, which they are not selling anymore.  It’s full of fun colors and the case it came in is too cool.

Doesn’t it look like a pop out book?

This set also came with blush, eyeshadow primer and bronzer.

And although you can’t buy this one anymore, there is a new limited edition holiday set out that I have my eye on.

Too Faced is definitely not cheap and the eyeshadow sets are a bit pricey.  However–the sets come with 9 long lasting colors in beautiful shades and make a great Christmas gift.

What is your favorite eyeshadow?

Very pretty! Try as I may I can NEVER get my colors to shade like that. It usually just looks blah.

I haven’t had much luck with Too Faced. Santa brought me an eye palette last year and the shadows are all really dry and don’t go on well even with primer. But I always hear such great things about them! Ugh, guess I… errr, Santa bought the wrong one. :(

My favorite eyeshadow is Urban Decay. I loooove all the chunky glitter and bright colors.

I, too, am an extreme makeup hoarder who suffers from over-glamorization issues!! Hmmmm, sounds like a new reality show if you ask me!!

Those are super cute but I’m super cheap when it comes to eye shadow. I just grab whatever appeals to me at Target or wherever whether its Covergirl or L’Oreal even Bonne Bell. (I’m perpetually 13 in every way apparently!)

i’ve got the natural eye palette but they are about double the price in australia so one will be all im having for the moment, although the limited edition one is particularly gorgeous!

I have to admit, I’m not usually one for makeup. But I loved the look of these so much that I ran out and bought the Natural Eye collection, plus the In Your Dreams palette http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P296018 which let’s you do three separate looks. My pocketbook thanks you ;)
