We’re featuring one of our all time favorite people. Yes, she has an incredibly cute blog, yes she makes incredibly cute cookies, but first and foremost she is one of the nicest people you will ever hope to know. That’s a fact.
She was one of the first bloggers I ever reached out to when I first started, and let me tell you she is beyond gracious. Everyone needs a little Bridget in their life 
So let’s get to snooping, because that’s what we’re here to do…
Hi guys! I’m Bridget from Bake at 350. I’m so, so excited to be here at That’s What WE Said with two of my favorite funny girls, but I’m a bit nervous to show you what’s hiding in my bag.
First and foremost, let’s give thanks to my sister for giving me this cute, *small* purse for my birthday last month. The one I was carrying was the size of a small cargo ship.
OK…here we go. What’s inside?
- a mini wallet that contains 98% customer loyalty cards, 2% actual money
- makeup bag…will not leave the house without this
- two Target coupons that are actually *not* expired and a grocery store receipt
- Mentos, you know, the fresh maker. I {heart} Mentos…and my 4-year-old nephew knows they are in there and asks me for one EVERY time I see him.
- sunglasses
- tape measure…I have never used it, but it’s THERE, people
- iPhone (my first ever and I’m in love with it…and Siri), oh, and a pen
- library cards…they will not fit in mini-wallet above, so they float around in the pocket
- nail polish, nail file and a hanky (because I’m 80)…I’m a crier, I need that hanky
This nail polish is my new favorite. Don’t you love OPI colors? I keep it in my purse in case I ever want to get an impromptu pedicure. It has NEVER.HAPPENED.
As I was looking at the pictures, I noticed that my grocery store receipt was folded to show two very glamorous items…toilet paper and cat food. Keepin’ in real, people; keepin’ it real.
Wanna see inside the makeup bag? No? Well, sorry. Here it is.
I decide every morning what color lipstick to wear, but feel much more secure if I have a few backups in case I want to change during the day. Lipstick is my security blanket.
This is my new favorite….NARS Flamenco. Obviously, I go for the “natural” look.

Bridget is absolutely adorable and I’m soooo glad to know there is another person in the world besides me and my great-great aunt who carry a hanky in our purses!!! I feel so affirmed!
Bridget, niiiice job on the coupons, too! I love me vendor coupons, especially that Walmart takes expired ones so they reward me with being lazy
Liking that cute purse too! And I need to get a small makeup bag for my purse. I always try to cram all my makeup stuff inside the interior zippered pocket of my purse. That doesn’t work too well.
And those shades…like those shades, man. Where did you find em?
I love that purse! It must be like the weasley tent tho, it looks tiny but holds so much! And I think I need to carry a hanky, I am such a crier, but I am sure I would forget it was in there and then on the one occasion I remembered it would be all yucky and my OCD would not allow me to use it. Instead I carry wads of tissue and worse yet, sometimes they are used, if I don’t catch my son in time he will just put the used tissue back in my purse. Boys!
And can I add (because I have said so little already) that I love this looking in to other peoples purses thing. It is the best, makes my day. Sad isn’t it?
Can I say that I LOVE that Bridget is a TX girl… And that I noticed that because of her grocery store recipt?? I <3 HEB! lol
Her purse is super cute. I carry nail polish in mine too, but sadly, I always have a 2 year old so that makes it hard to get a pedicure!
I love that you used a ton of coupons which means you’re sensible and frugal, a sassy purse and red lipstick mean you’re fun, the hanky is a nod to tradition and a tape measurer means you’re ready for anything! My kinda gal!
Really love this. It’s so fun to see what everyone uses as a bag and whats in it. I guess I want to know if people are really emptying it out and showing us the nitty gritty or if they’re cleaning it out beforehand!! lol
Love the lipstick…..I keep it “natural” as well….MAC’s Rusian Red here and I keep 4-5 backups at all times as well. Thanks for sharing your purse Bridget.

There’s an iPhone app called “Card Star” that will make your wallet full of grocery cards go away. If a card has a barcode, you just enter the number into the app and then at the store, they scan your PHONE!!! Good news, right?!?
Really?! That sounds so cool!!
I think you are my new best friend! I have to pull out 20 cards to get to any cash (if I’m lucky enough to have any). Awesome!!!!!
