Now, let’s do Whatta Man Monday.
In honor of Breaking Dawn Part 1 coming out this week we thought it might be fun to choose a favorite between wolf and vampire.
I have a feeling that the choices here will not be based solely on looks…or really the REAL Taylor or Robert…it will be based more on whether or not you are Team Jacob or Team Edward.
Kristan and I disagree on which Twilight Man is hotter…I’m not going to disclose here which way we swing…stay tuned this week for our own personal opinions 
The choice here is yours completely and I will try not to sway you either way and remain completely impartial.

Edward…
Well, he is wise…because he’s like really old. So he gets points for smartness. Let’s take a gander at his smartness…
Wow, yes, he looks extremely intelligent.
And what Jacob lacks in smarts he makes up for in abs. Again, let’s look…
Yeah, those are abs.
Also, outside of the Twilight world they both can rock a suit, which I find muy importante.
Next, let’s talk body temperature…
Edward is cold…super cold. That might not be so good for me, as I always have cold feet. But Jacob is hot…but also that might not be so good when it comes to sweating and body odor. Ick.
Edward is more mysterious and secretive, while Jacob lays it all on the table…almost bordering on needy. Not sure which is better?
But let’s look…
Unfortunately cold and hot both look alright to me
Edward drives cool new cars…with seat belts…he likes Bella to be safe. What a gentleman.
Jacob drives a motorcycle with no seat belts…he likes adventure and encourages Bella to as well.
See, how he leans up against that wooden pole? He is thinking about adventure, I can tell.
Now, in real life they date people…
Pattinson doesn’t deviate too far from Edward here, gravitating to the always moody Kristen Stewart….while Lautner dates cute, smiley girls like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
Now, with all these pretty pictures, we have to throw in a few to show they don’t always make great choices…I will not discuss these pictures because I feel like they speak for themselves.
Yeah, not great guys.

JACOB! I am way too old to have a crush on him, but I just cant help it =). Watching the last movie in the theater with my best friend, I let out a squeal when he came on the screen. She still makes fun of me for that!

Definitely Team Jacob!! Ironically, I even wore my “wolf girl” shirt today BEFORE I saw your blog! LOL See, that right there should tell you it’s Jacob all the way.
I’m Team Jacob. I can neither confirm or deny that I wore a shirt saying “Once you go Jacob Black, you never go back” to the midnight premiere of Eclipse… I’m just glad Taylor is officially legal now. I felt a bit creepy those first couple of movies.
Team Edward, for sure. Gotta love a man that does the right thing, despite his every instinct fighting that choice. He loves Bella so completely & deeply. Besides, he’s sparkly.
Tough choice…but I have to go with Team Edward.
Team Jacob. If someone should be sparkly it’s me, not my guy.
Edward! The way he loves Bella draws me in! However, Jacob isn’t an eyesore!

Team Edward! Based on movie and books, but mostly books. Jacob seems too annoying to me. Too pushy, too much like a lil boy with a crush. Plus he smells like a dog. Edwards mature, immortal, will always be sexy and young and attractive, has money and nice cars, hes loyal, hes incredibly attractive, he breaks things during naughty time, he cooks, hes fast, hes never tired…need I go on?

It really depends. If we’re going solely on the movies (which we sort of are in this instance)- Team Jacob all the way. Taylor Lautner is so incredibly sexy and adorable all at the same time. Robert Pattinson is just not really my cup of tea- I’ve never been a big fan of him in the role of Edward (or Cedric Diggory, either). If we’re going to lean towards the books though- I’ve always been a Team Edward person
Oh I must go on a lil further. With Edward he can make you immortal like him, you can have gorgeous half human half vampire babies rather then puppies and you inherit the Cullen family as your own, which os just awesome! Plus, if she went for Jacob who’s to say that he wouldn’t have imprinted on someone else as they were dating and left her broken hearted?? Pshhh.

When I’m reading the books, I’m on Team Edward and find Jacob completely creepy and annoying. Plus, you can picture a completely different look than the actual actors. The Edward in my head is much more handsome than the Eward on the silver screen.
When I’m watching the movies, Edward’s moodiness is just annoying. Plus, Bella seems less moody when she’s with Jacob. AND Jacob has good abs and is almost always upbeat. Plus, to make sure Bella knows he’s not just leaving her behind in the third movie, he tries to give her clues as to why he hasn’t been able to talk to her. So, if we are talking strictly about the movie characters and actors, I’m definitely Team Jacob.
From reading the books, I was Team Edward from day one. I was inappropriately obsessed with the character, especially for someone who is also not a young adult. The movies swayed me a little toward Team Jacob. Well, let’s be real, Taylor Lautner’s abs did, but I’m still Team Edward when it comes down to it!
As far as the books, Team Edward allllll the way, he’s such a romantic. For the movies however I’d go with Taylor Lautner. Robert Pattinson just doesn’t do it for me
Edward is a hard core creepy stalker that watches underage girls sleep. Ew, no thanks. I’d take a love sick puppy dog over a possessive, controlling, old man! So, by default, I am Team Jacob.
This should really be Team Angel vs. Team Spike!
I love Edward more in the books but even in the movies. Im all team Vampire though and if it was between vamps I vote team Eric from True Blood or team Damon from V.D.

ok i’m 48 I can’t believe i’m doing this but.. I read all the books, i’ve seen the movies and must admit to a kind of small but sick crush on the wolf boy Jacob! Theres just something about really old, cold dead things that kinda creeps me out !
Team Edward, for sure. Robert Pattinson is so gorgeous…and Edward is old fashioned and romantic!

Gotta say Jacob. I’m not a Twilight fan at all (no stones, please) but Edward is just pale and creepy and in desperate need of a hair brush.
okay….so….I haven’t seen the movies. My child insisted that I read the first book. By the end of the week I had read them all. I am Team Jacob. I really don’t like to be cold. At all. I also don’t want anyone sneaking into my room to watch me sleep. eww. Also, Taylor is one fine young man. I approve of his choice of girls in real life. I like the way he looks in his suit. (It freaks me out the way he imprints with the baby though, I found that slightly icky.)
Even though we all know how it ends – when I went to see Eclipse with my sister in law we both agreed we wanted to be team jacob… so even with that said. Yes team Jacob all the way. He’s legal so it’s okay

Yeah so, I was never Team Edward but once I saw Jacob’s abs? Hell to the yeah I was all Team Jacob. Who cares if he is young and needy? It’s easier to train them young. Jacob always looks clean – even when he is Taylor. Edward looks greasy – as a sparkly vampire and as Robert. Gack!
Yes I’m 39 and yes I’ve been lusting after Jacob/Taylor with my 39 year old BFF since the 2nd Twilight movie.
Jacob and his abs were the ONLY reason I got through the angst of Bella (who I wanted to SLAP) in the 2nd movie.

I have to go with the majority on here and say Team Jacob %100 if we are talking the movie characters. But the picture I had in my mind when reading the books… well… let’s just say it would be Edward all the way!!

If it were the books though I would be totally team Edward! They should have picked someone with more personality for Edward (and Bella). Now if they would have only cast the kids (I mean men) from the Vampire Diaries into the these roles…. then there would have been some serious competition! 
Now, my son and I are at odds.. he is 11 and is totally team Edward. We discuss it but how can you honestly carry on a conversation with your 11 year old over the whole reason you pick Jacob is because Jacob is hotter!!! (so we agree to disagree) and he is not going to Breaking Dawn with me!!!!
Team Edward, definitely. I’ve always had a thing for vampires, especially the moody, broody, having a conscience ones. I’m not so crazy about the casting of the movies either, and totally agree that if it had been the guys from Vampire Diaries it would be soooooo much better. Oh and don’t tell him I told you, but my husband is Team Jacob, he thinks the wolves are way cooler than sparkly vampires. Though really, he’s Team Alice, lol.
