Cocktail Friday ~ Chocolate Covered Cherry Shooters

What up, homes?  It’s FRIDAY!!

 

And what better way to celebrate than with an alcoholic beverage that doubles as a dessert?  About four of these and I’ll forget all about the boxes of Christmas decorations I’ve yet to unpack.

 

You too?  Let’s make drinks.

INGREDIENTS

5 oz amaretto liquor

2 teaspoons grenadine

4 teaspoons dark chocolate syrup

3 teaspoons heavy cream

 

Pour ingredients into an ice filled shaker.  Shake and strain into shot glasses.  Garnish with cherries and whipped cream if desired.  Makes 4 large shots.

 

These are festive and perfect for a Christmas party.  Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy!!

    I love chocolate covered cherries! I may have to do this without the whipped topping though because the last shooter I had with whipped cream ended my 21st birthday on a bad note haha
