It’s that time of year again…
School is winding down for the holiday break and you are scrambling to put together gifts for all the people in your life.
Beyond the mailman, the garbage men and the bus driver there is your kid’s teacher.
I mean, honestly, your kids spend a pretty good amount of time in the care of his or her teacher, so getting her/him a little something around the holidays is really a nice gesture…don’t you think?
I’ve put together a few fun crafty ideas that will mean more to her than a candle, plus you can get all crafty, impressing her even further.
None of this is about bribery…I mean, you would NEVER want to try and bribe your kid’s teacher…right?
I have never done that. Never. Ever. Say you believe me.
Moving on, here are some adorable ideas that I love…Click over to their original sites to get full “how-to’s”!
Let’s start with flowers.
This is a simple idea from One Charming Party. The sweet vase will go together in a pinch and you can fill it with any flowers or plant that you like! So cute.
This next idea from It Will Change Your Life might be my favorite! It will take a little coordinating to get pictures of all the kids in the class, but put together in this bouquet, it’s really worth the effort.
Last up in the flower theme, how about these adorable pencils from Pink Paislee? A teacher can never have too may pencils and the sweet little toppers on these are really cute!
Here are a few wreath ideas. I love wreaths, they are such great decorations and both of these are so cute!
The first one is from Mom’s Party Cafe. Your little ones would probably love to help out with this one too.
This tea wreath from Kojo Designs would be a fun one for the teacher’s lounge.
I love this little sign that your teacher could display in her room. Subway Art is one of my favorite trends right now. The tutorial and printable is available at eighteen 25.
Another idea for simple artwork for the classroom is this fun crayon design from frugal life project! I am totally making this for my 1st graders teacher.
And last but not least an adorable School Supply Cake from what’s scrapping!
I hope some of these ideas have made your life a little easier…OR I have just made your life harder because I have just made you re-think that gift card you were going to give
