Holiday Cookie Ideas

If you’re like me, you haven’t started your holiday baking yet.

I know, I need to get on it, but something is holding me back…maybe it’s all the other STUFF that’s on my to-do list.

So I will try and make it easy on you today.

I have a list of treats that will certainly satisfy everyone in your house.

Like fruit?  Gotcha covered.

Like candy bars?  Done!

Like peppermint?  No worries.

Yeah, you get the idea…

First up we have one of my all-time-favorite snacks.  I have a love/hate relationship with Shauna for introducing this to my life.  I could seriously eat the the entire pan myself and may or may not have yelled at my husband for eating some. It was not a proud moment.

Cookie Brittle.  While I am usually a soft cookie girl, this buttery, crunchy cookie brittle makes my knees weak.

Next up these Cranberry Bliss Bars from Glorious Treats.  I am obsessed with them.  I think I look at the recipe everyday in hopes that Glory will just show up at my house and make them for me.  It hasn’t worked yet, but  I am still trying.

These chocolate peppermints from my friend Amy are getting made at my house this weekend.  They are kind of perfect.

Now how about these insanely adorable Lemon Meringue pie cookies from Kristan?  When you don’t want to commit to a full pie, which for me, is ALWAYS…these little cuties are perfect!  I mean, look at  that meringue?!

And since the holidays basically give you a free pass to make fudge for 30 days straight, you should definitely try this in-your-face, salty-sweet combo from Karly.  It’s White Chocolate Pretzel Fudge and it’s beautiful.

Next up, my husband is addicted to Butterfingers, so I bet he would super duper love me and buy me the best Christmas present ever if I make him these Butterfinger Cookies from Maria.

Here we have one of my favorite snacks that I never make.  Do you guys have one of those…like you love it so much, but don’t make it often?  Almond Roca is so addictive and buttery and yummy…yeah, I need to make some now.  Lori’s recipe is perfection and so easy to follow.

And last but not least one of my new favorites.  I made these bars not too long ago, but they are now in the ranks of favorite treats at my house.  White Chocolate and Butterscotch Bars.  Oh yeah.
