Grasshopper Milkshake

It’s Friday, yo!!

That means it’s time for ice cream with alcohol mixed in it, right?

One of my  favorite cookies are Girl Scout Thin Mints.  But seeing as how Thin Mints aren’t available quite yet (I’ve put my order in, believe you me), I snagged up a pack of Keebler Grasshopper Cookies to make this yummy shake.  It’s minty and chocolatey and completely delicious.

Kind of helps wipe the week away, if you know what I’m saying.

2.5 oz Peppermint Schnapps

4 mediumish scoops chocolate ice cream

1 cup ice

6 Grasshopper cookies, plus more for garnish

Place Peppermint Schnapps, ice cream, ice, and cookies in the blender (in that order).  Blend until smooth.

Makes one very large drink, or two smallish ones.

Best enjoyed while watching TV of the trashy, reality variety.

Enjoy your weekend!!

Looks delicious! Oreo has a chocolate covered mint oreo that tastes *almost* as good as the GSC Thin Mints. You should try those too!! I might make this recipe for my husband soon. He loves thin mints and loves milkshakes too. Of course, I might have to steal a few sips for myself.
