Amaretto Sours are one of my all time favorite cocktails. And it seems like a bottle of Amaretto lasts FOREEEEEEVVVVVER, so it’s a great liquor to keep stocked.
Unfortunately, I rarely have Sweet and Sour Mix on hand. But I found out how to make it myself!!
Amaretto Sours all around!!
INGREDIENTS
4 ice cubes
3 oz amaretto
3 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tbs sugar syrupPlace all the ingredients in a shaker and shake for 30 seconds.. Serves two.
**For sugar syrup, heat 1 cup white sugar and 2/3 cup water to a simmer until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and boil until syrupey. Let cool and pour into a bottle.
