I am kind of a freak about hair products.
Mostly because I’m fully convinced that the right combination of products will give me the hair I’ve always dreamed of — shiny, strong, and nonfrizzy. Every new product is potentially magic in a bottle, and I definitely don’t want to miss out on THE ONE.
The combination of products I’ve found now really works for me. I’m sure it will change at some point, but I’ve found myself sticking to these for awhile and I’m really happy with the results.
My friend and hairdresser (yes, I actually get to have a friend cut and color my hair!!) uses this on me, and turned me into a total Kenra Blow Dry Spray convert. This stuff is amazing. It’s meant to protect your hair from the heat of the blow dryer, which it totally does. My hair stays soft and relatively unfrizzy after blow drying which I love. BUT, there is another benefit of using this product — it makes your hair dry FASTER. I usually spray it in my wet hair and comb it through before applying my make up. By the time my make up is on (10 minutes maybe), I can blow dry my hair in about a third of the normal time. It smells great, too!!
Big Sexy Hair Power Play is great for adding a bit of volume to your hair. After drying and styling, just sprinkle a bit at your roots (I usually just apply it at my crown or anywhere I might normally tease), and fluff with fingers. It adds instant volume and if you catch it falling flat during the day, just give it another fluff.
I have struggled with finding a cream for fly aways that doesn’t leave my hair greasy or heavy, and Bed Head After Party is perfect. I apply mine after drying my hair, usually focusing on any fly aways and my ends. A bottle lasts me FOREVER, it’s lightweight, and smells good. I will be using this stuff until they stop making it.
Last but not least, I always finish off with a spray or seven of Kenra Volume Hair Spray (25). It’s got a nice firm hold without being TOO stiff, and a little goes a long way. It’s great at keeping your hair looking nice all day long.
Those are my current can’t live without favorites. What are yours?
