Kid’s Craft ~ Easy Spinners

My kids are off this week for Spring Break.

And since we’re staying home for the week I have to come up with stuff for them to do all day long.

Kids expect that.

So first up on the agenda are some easy, fun crafts that don’t require a huge clean up or crazy supplies.

I saw this one over at the Family Fun site a while back and decided that today was the day.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• an old cd
• some paper
• a glue gun
• scissors
• markers
• a large marble
• a lid from a water bottle

First have your kids trace the cd onto a piece of paper…

Have them carefully cut out the circle.

Next, they can decorate the paper however they would like.  A spiral design looked really cool.

Ta-da…

Now hot glue the paper to the top of the cd and hot glue the bottle cap to the center of the top…

Flip it over and glue the marble into the hole in the cd…

Let the glue cool and set a few minutes and get to spinning!
