Another Monday, another Whatta Man. Isn’t that how the saying goes?
I have to say, one of the best parts of my weekend is researching manly men for these posts. But if you ask my husband…it’s work. IMPORTANT WORK.
Last week, Will Smith beat Josh Brolin in the Men In Black Edition by a landslide. I probably have to agree. I know all the words to Miami, Gettin’ Jiggy With It, and Men In Black (the song), which probably swayed my vote a little.
I was totally stumped on who to pit against each other this week, until I sat down and looked at my DVR. In a burst of inspiration, it hit me!!
Dallas!!
I sat down and watched most of the first episode and it’s looking REALLY good. I was initially on the fence about it, but this is definitely a show I can get into.
The show features some of the old characters, but now John Ross III (son of JR and Sue Ellen Ewing) and Christopher (adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing) are at it’s center. John is focused on money, oil, and greed, while Christopher’s focus is on upkeep of Southfork Ranch and developing alternative fuel.
Basically, John Ross is the bad guy and Christopher is the good guy.
But some of you like bad guys, yes?
I should probably mention that John Ross’s girlfriend and business partner is Christopher’s ex-fiancee.
Now that you have some of the deets about their characters, lets look at them more closely as individuals.
Here they are sporting the western look. John Ross goes more obvious, while Christopher is more classic and clean cut.

HELLO.
These boys don’t need color to look fine, that’s for dang sure.
And lastly, the Vest Test. Because only a real man can make a vest look good.
I’d say they pass with flying colors.
Who gets your vote? The bad boy or the good guy??

OHHH I like John Ross for looks but Christopher’s personality… Sooo since personality beats looks most days I’m going with Christopher… and he aint bad to look at either.
I have loved John Ross since he was Gabby’s gardener on Desperate Housewives. I didn’t condone the extramarital affair part on the show but was totally ok with it because it meant more screen time of him and WOW. I’m sorry, was there another guy in this Whatta Man Monday?

I am digging the new Dallas…I thought I’d tune in to see a few old faces, watch one episode and be all, eh…but I like it!

This is the hardest decision for me so far on the ones I have been a part of…I am voting for Christopher just because his hair is darker…lol!
