As you may know, Shelly and I have been teaming up on Caramel Apple treats all week long.
So I decided…why not add Cocktail Friday to the Caramel Apple Mix?
Obviously, this is a nonalcoholic drink (helloooo…I’m growing a human and I’d prefer her to only have ONE head), but OMG seriously…I don’t say this often, but this drink is LIFE. CHANGING.
It’s like butter and apple pie and magic and crisp Fall air all mixed up into a potion. Not kidding.
Make it, and drink it NOW. Then make it and drink it again. Trust.
INGREDIENTS
- Drink:
- 8 oz apple juice
- whipped cream
- caramel syrup
- Cinnamon Syrup:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 TBS flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 TBS butter
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a small sauce pan over medium high heat, combine white sugar, flour, cinnamon and water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil until mixture thickens considerably. Remove from heat and add butter. Keep stored covered in the refrigerator.
2. To make the drink: Heat 8 oz apple juice to boiling. Spoon a tablespoonful of cinnamon syrup into a mug. Add hot apple juice. Top with whipped cream and caramel syrup.

I want this now!!
I made the cinnamon syrup in the microwave. Easier for me than standing over the stove, constantly stirring.
I just made these for my husband and myself and OH MY GOODNESS! This is soooo yummy!! I have an apple dumpling recipe that I make every year and this tastes like the liquid version of it!!! Thank you soooo much for sharing this incredible recipe!!
Oh yeah, and I made the syrup in the microwave too, it was a lot easier and turned out perfect
