Meal Plan Monday ~ Dips for New Years Eve

Sooo…I don’t know about you, but I cannot keep track of my days lately.  Between the holidays and the kid being out of school, everything is thrown off track.

That includes meal planning.  If I can’t even figure out what day it is, I certainly don’t have dinners planned out very well.

Until things get back to normal next week, I thought I’d switch things up and post some fun dip recipes to spice up your New Years Eve!!  Dips are perfect for parties, or even just enjoying at home with the little ones.  Kids just love dipping things.  It’s true.

Here are some yummy ones that caught my eye!!

Buffalo Chicken Dip — I have made this dip several times and it’s always a hit!!  So easy, too!!

Crab Dip — I realize that crab dip is nothing new, but I love how it’s served in the phyllo shells here.  So cute and easy for guests to serve themselves!!

Pickle Dip — Yes, please.

BLT Dip – All the flavor of my favorite sandwich in a fun dip!!

Bacon, White Cheddar and Ranch Dip — I knew all I needed to know after I saw the word bacon.  This dip is served with homemade oven fried potato chips, which sound amazing!!

Enjoy and have a Happy New Year!!

    Thanks for the link!

I made some buffalo chicken dip for my daughters birthday party this weekend and I’m about to eat the leftovers for breakfast. Don’t judge me.

Thanks Kristan — I’ve made dinner out of chips and this oldie but goodie — Onion Dip: One envelope Lipton’s Secret Recipe mixed with one pint sour cream. Let set in fridge for a few hours for flavors to get married. Serve with Lay’s Original Potato Chips. Cannot be easier. I was making this in 1964 when I first got married. Recently brought it to some holiday gatherings. Total hit of the party. As they say: “everything old is new again.” Going try one of these — and call it dinner, too.
