Gabriel Aubry beat Olivier Martinez in last week’s Whatta Man…his poor, poor face thanks us.
I am especially excited about this week’s Whatta Man…I am featuring men from one of my most favorite Christmas movies of ALL TIME.
Have you seen Love, Actually? If not, you’re missing out. It’s funny, it’s sweet, it’s sad, it’s sentimental…and it’s Englandey.
There are actually several hot characters in the movie, but these two are the most obvious choices of the bunch. I have to say, it’s a really tough call and I can’t wait to see who wins!!
Colin Firth (Jamie) vs Liam Neeson (Daniel)
In the movie, Colin’s character Jamie discovers his girlfriend cheating on him, and Liam’s character Daniel is a single dad, raising an adorable stepson after his wife has passed away.
Both characters are completely adorable, and I always find myself rooting for them to find love and happiness.
How cute is Daniel (Liam) with his adorable stepson? Their scenes together are some of my favorites.
And Jamie (Colin) can definitely pull off the man scarf look well.
I love them both!!

Colin Firth- he learns Portuguese to woo his love!
So hard. Colin Firth is my Darcy and I LUURRVVEE him to pieces. Plus I’m not a huge Liam fan. However, in this movie, Daniel is my favorite. I love his relationship with his stepson. It’s actually my favorite relationship in the movie. Think I’ll watch this tonight.
Anyway, all that being said, Colin has to get my vote. I love him and he’s a hottie. Plus that broken Portuguese is swoon-worthy!

Colin Firth! the way he proposes is so sweet! and the last scene at the airport cracks me up everytime!
This my FAVORITE Christmas movie!! I put it on and sit down to wrap presents every year. I’m such an anglophile there isn’t a character in it that I don’t love. But I probably first saw it cause of Alan. *siggh* Alan Rickman is my forever love. He beats everyone. If he was MY boss I’d totally come on to him as bad as his secretary does in this movie and I don’t need no damn necklace!! Also Hugh Grant as the PM is so freakin’ cute. How he calls Thatcher a “saucy minx.” I love Hugh also.
But I do love Colin’s story in LA. It’s so sweet how they don’t speak the same language but learn to communicate. And Aurelia is dear. The scene where she strips off her clothes and jumps in to save his work and his reaction is my favorite. “Oh God. She’s in.”
Liam is dear too. So I can’t exactly give him a thumbs down.
Anyone see the cut scenes on the DVD? I’d LOVE to get a remastered edition that has all those scenes put back in. A lot of it actually makes more sense.

This is so hard. I just watched this last night. I think it has to be Colin though…..
I LOVE this movie! The screen play, all the actors — and what a wonderful cast — are exceptional. Have to vote for Colin . . . but LOVED Bill Nighly (sp.?). And that adorable little boy? He’s a nephew (or somehow related) to Hugh Grant! I’m getting the warm fuzzies just thinking about it.
