This week was a slow one in the world of famous-ish people.
So I’ll do my best to keep you interested…
Let’s start with Kate Middleton. According to all the media this week, the Duchess of Cambridge “slipped”, revealing the gender of her baby when receiving a stuffed toy from a fan. Allegedly she said “our daughter”, but I watched the video, which can be found HERE…and I don’t detect any slip-up…but certainly feel free to form your own opinion.
In a confirmed gender reveal, Jessica Simpson accidentally let the world know she’s having a boy on Jimmy Kimmel Live this past week. Apparently she’s feeling nauseous and made the off-color comment, “I never knew a weiner could make me nauseous”. So I guess we should congratulate her on having a boy
Speaking of baby stuff…Snooki is showing the world her body after baby…
She lost all the baby weight and then some, according to Us Weekly…she looks different, right? Did she do something to her face also? Thoughts?
In “cry me a river” news…
Apparently Justin Bieber had the “worst birthday” ever. Don’t you feel sorry for him?
Allegedly he was out at ‘da club, and there was some drama inside (shocker) that may or may not have included Will Smith’s 14 year old son Jaden. I don’t really understand the whole story, or particularly care about teenagers giving each other Rolex watches, but the world says Justin Bieber is a thing, so I’m just passing along the information.
Now in news that was relevant in 2003…
Jamie Lynn Spears is engaged and Paris Hilton had a birthday celebration.
Yeahhhhh.
And let’s talk Bravo shows…
Teresa and Juicy Joe make out underwater in Punta Cana, proving that they are REALLY IN LOVE!
Next, according to Jax from Vanderpump Rules (hellooooo, who else watches this show? Just Me?) he used to room with Channing Tatum in New York before they both *ahem became famous.
Annnnd finally, Adrienne Maloof has announced that she will be leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She announced it on her website and her one fan left a comment for her.
She also backed out of attending the filming of this season’s reunion special. I’m not too sure who will actually miss her, but so long. At least she has Sean Stewart to keep her implants warm at night.
In some sad news this week, Valerie Harper announced she is battling a terminal brain cancer, Bonnie Franklin passed away after battling pancreatic cancer and more trouble for a Terminator star…
Edward Furlong has been in trouble with drugs and the law for many many years. Looks like he recently violated his probation agreement and instead of going to rehab, which the judge offered, he chose going to prison instead. Such a sad story.
This weekend out at the movies is Oz.
I am super excited to see this one and I think I have talked my kids onto going with me. The husband, not so much.
Here’s the synopsis according to Movie Insider…
When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.
When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful wizard but into a better man as well.
Have a great weekend!

Yup. Excited about that movie. I’ll probably have to go alone but whatever.
I am totally and somewhat ashamedly hooked on Vanderpump Rules! Jax is such a cute trainwreck to watch. It is nearly unfathomable to me that there are actually young people (ha i’m 34 and calling people young people, what have I become?) that act like that, so self absorbed and clueless about real life. Also Tom with the hair product and bronzer and guyliner? No, just no. Hadn’t heard that little tidbit about Jax and Channing, interesting. Eww Juicy Joe and Teresa..just yuck. I thought you were being sarcastic about the one fan commenting on Adrienne’s blog but alas you were not and that made me laugh, like, a lot. Good stuff.
