Whatta Man Monday — The Great Gatsby Edition!!

Happy Monday, chickies!!

I hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day weekend!!

And by enjoyed, I mean, I hope you got lots of foot rubs, breakfast in bed, and plenty of wine.

Last week,  Rob Thomas won Rob vs Robin.  Apparently you aren’t charmed by the sexy time music.  I get it.

This week, I thought I’d take a look at a couple of guys starring in a new movie you might have heard about recently…

The Great Gatsby Edition

Tobey (Nick) vs Leo (Gatsby)

Shelly and I realized that we’ve never featured Leo in a Whatta Man, so this is perfect timing!!  I have to say, I used to LOVE him on Growing Pains.

Also, I am old.

What cutie butts!!

I have to say, the 20′s sure suits them.

If you haven’t read the book, Tobey’s character Nick is the narrator…and a bit more stable.  Leo (Gatsby) is more grandiose and delusional…but definitely more of a romantic.

I think the hat looks totally adorable on Tobey.

Always love Leo in a tux!!

Okay, so some of the 20′s fashion sucked a little bit.

But they’re still both pretty cute.

Did you see the movie over the weekend?  Who gets your vote?

Tobey! I think Leo is losing his cuteness… totally liked him more when he was younger.

Leo! Tobey looks too…wimpy? timid? Not sure of the right word. I know Tobey was Spiderman, but Peter Parker was a total, insecure nerd. Leo has always been adorable and a strong heroic character. Sorry to all the “nerds” – l love a really intelligent guy, but he also needs to be strong and confident.

Doesn’t look like he needs my vote, but it’s Leo for me!

LEO!!! He is timeless……so classy. There is no competition in my book. In fact, I find this contest almost offensive, speaking in Leo’s defense of course. But its ok, I guess you can just automatically declare Leo the winner so we (we being Leo and I of course) can forgive and move on.

Huh, I learned something new today…I didn’t know that Leo was in Growing Pains…I loved that show! I would have to say that based on these pics, I vote for Leo. There have been times where he just doesn’t do it for me, but in this case he does it more than Toby! I have to say, Leo was much cuter when he was younger!
