So you might know, besides being a total make – up junkie, I am hardcore obsessed with having good hair. Always have been.
I think it’s because hair is one thing that can always look good and never makes you feel fat. Not much better than an awesome hair day, is there?
Here are some of my absolute FAVORITE, can’t live without hair products right now:
Since growing my hair out, it gets SO tangled. It doesn’t help matters that my hair is layered and color treated…so it tends to get dry and the layers get all tangled up. It got to the point where I HATED dealing with my wet hair…it was painful and time consuming.
I saw this comb and Walmart and decided to try it. I keep it hanging in the shower and use it to comb my conditioner THROUGH my hair (as opposed to the conditioner kind of sitting on top of my hair, unable to penetrate the tangled up mess). It works GREAT and I see a huge difference in my hair. Not only is it manageable when I get out of the shower, but it’s conditioned better so it looks great!!
Another Conair Brush — and trust me when I say you NEED this!! It glides easily through wet or dry hair and feels so great on your scalp. My hair is thick and it works GREAT!! I will never ever be without one of these brushes again!! It’s also great for pulling hair up into a ponytail or bun…since the bristles are close together, it gathers your hair up just like you want it to.
Trust me when I say I have tried ALLLL kinds of shine/smoothing serums for my hair. For a long time, I was committed to the Kenra Blow Dry Spray – it softened my hair, cut minutes off my drying time, and gave it shine. But then I tried this stuff and I am HOOKED!! Absolutely hands down my favorite serum EVER!! It smells good (kind of sugary, in my opinion), doesn’t leave your hair greasy, and gives you a ton of shine and softness. It also cuts minutes off drying time, although not as much as the Kenra Blow Dry Spray did. Honestly, my hair has never felt sleeker!!
I use this spray almost every day. It’s a lot like a dry shampoo, but adds more volume. If your hair is too soft for braids or an updo, or you like to get that “beachy” look, try this spray. I always spray it on my roots after curling my hair, and kind of tousle my roots throughout the day when my hair needs a pick me up.
I am a huge fan of curling wands as opposed to irons — and I own several of each. When I found out that a friend used this Reverse Conical Wand to get her GORGEOUS curls I was skeptical — I have a tapered iron, but it’s skinny on the END, not the top. But her hair was so cute, I bought one and tried it…and it is hands down my FAVORITE iron. It’s not expensive, but gives you expensive looking hair. LOVE it!!
Those are my top hair products that I use pretty much every day. What are yours?
