Stitch Fix ~ October

Hey girls!!

I’m here to share my latest Stitch Fix with you guys!

I didn’t share last month’s with you, because for the first time I didn’t keep one single item.

If you are new around here Stitch Fix is an online personal styling service.  All of our Stitch Fix reviews are HERE..but for a full explanation on how the service works you can read my very first post here.

After last month’s bust of a box I decided to try the trick that Kristan told me about…creating my own Style Pinboard and link it up in my  Stitch Fix profile, so my stylist could see the things that I am really loving lately.  I think it really helped.

I can’t wait to start loading up my pin board with new things, because this box was very sweater heavy… but after looking at my PIN board, I can see why!  Hello sweaters!

Anyhow, let’s have a look at my latest…

And please forgive my invisible lips in these pictures.  One would think I could have taken the time to put on a little lipstick!

First up was this cozy striped sweater…

IMG_5097It’s very casual and basic, but I’ve already worn it!  It looks cute with black leggings and a necklace!  It’s just a cozy sweater that is loose, but cut nicely.

Next up was this sweater…

IMG_5094I kept this sweater as well…I liked the teal and navy combo on this… and it’s just fun for an everyday sweater.

This next shirt I sent back…

IMG_5092I actually really love it, but it’s almost identical to the one I got in AUGUST.  And honestly I think I even like this one a little better, but there’s only so much chevron a girl needs in her wardrobe.

IMG_5102Ok, this top… clearly I don’t have a tank top on under it, which I need…

And I wasn’t sure if I liked it.  But my 10 year old loved it and my husband told me I should keep it…So I went against my initial reaction.  I think I will pair it with some black leggings and black riding boots…and yes a tank top underneath for the love of God.

Finally I got this cozy piece of heaven…

IMG_5104It’s certainly not the most flattering sweater I own, but it is the softest, coziest material ever.  And the light blue and brown combo I thought was too cute!

So this month I kept 4 of the 5 pieces…

And I forgot to save the receipt for these, but I spent around $220…which for sweaters and outerwear, I thought was pretty fair.

You guys should totally sign up for Stitch Fix, it’s been my most favorite thing for the past 6 months! I love that there is no obligation at all, and you can schedule or reschedule your fixes for as often as you want.

*Also, this post has affiliate links, so if you sign up using MY LINK I get a credit toward my next fix too!  Love that!

I just got my first fix and while I loved almost all the pieces, 2 of the ones I wanted to keep were dry clean only, so I returned them because of that fact. Have you run into that issue a lot (or maybe you don’t consider it a problem)? On my review, I mentioned that (and requested no more dry clean only, so hopefully that’ll help my next box.) P.S. I wish the chevron and the houndstooth came in my box- love those!

You are so cute! I love that polka dotty sweater…and well, everything else. And, what?!? You don’t want a whole closet full of chevron?!? ;)
