My October Stitch Fix!!

I have been SO bad about getting my Stitch Fix posts done this month!!  It seems like I can never get a time down where my husband is available to do photos, the baby is napping, and it’s still light outside.

Plus, time just flies by.  I’ve already gotten two new Fixes since my last post!!

If you’re unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it’s a service that sends you five items of clothing per month based on a style profile you fill out.  This is based not only on style, but also on budget — you can choose if you want to go cheaper or pricier.

The service costs $20 a month – – that is the fee for getting styled and having the clothes shipped to you.  Once the clothes arrive, you try them on.  If you decide to keep any, that $20 fee is deducted from the cost.  If you send any back, it’s so easy.  There is a postage paid envelope included, so you don’t even have to make a trip to the post office!!

I will be honest – I hate having my photo taken.  And my husband is so embarrassing, he tells me to do all these poses and says embarrassing things and I just want to go die.  So these photos…are awful.

However — I’ve been very happy with my last two fixes!!  Lots of cute comfy stuff.  I’m showing both in one post, so there are a lot this go around!!

This shirt AND the bag were in my latest box.  I liked the shirt a lot — it’s nothing fancy, but the bird print is cute, it fit loose, and can be dressed up or down.  I decided to keep it.  I liked the bag too — it was nice and roomy and had plenty of inside pockets!!  However — I have enough bags, and this one was $68.  I sent it back.

I think I am the only person on Stitch Fix who had NOT gotten a chevron print shirt yet!!  This one is cute — tab sleeves and kind of loose fitting.  I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep it, but decided it would look super cute under a cardigan or chambray, and I was looking for something red and white to wear for Lucy’s first birthday anyways.

This slouchy dolman sleeved sweater was one of my favorites — it’s cozy and cute and perfect for around the house or running errands.  It’s cream colored with little flecks of black, and not super heavy but not flimsy either.

I wasn’t sure about these pants, but once I tried them on, I actually liked them.  They’re totally out of my comfort zone, but so comfortable and different.  They are a bit long (I rolled the top over for this photo), but my mother in law is going to hem them for me.

This shirt is one of my favorites.  My husband snapped this photo after church one day, since I was already wearing it.  The color is great for Fall, and the peplum cut is flattering.  So comfy!!

I liked this sweater a lot too.  It’s reversible, and the other side is black with white polka dots.  It’s really comfortable and kind of thin, so it’s great for layering.

I liked this top too — the green color is different than anything I have, and the gold birds are a cute touch!!

I also got a pair of dark blue skinny jeans that I liked a lot.  I wear the ones they sent me in September quite a bit…so I actually left feedback asking for another pair, which was nice!!

That’s it for my last two — I think each box ended up costing around $225 each…but keep in mind that I do get credit for referrals, otherwise I’d probably send a few more back.  I’d have trouble justifying spending that much!!

Overall, I am really happy with Stitch Fix.  With the baby, I really don’t have time or energy to go shopping anymore, and this is a fun and convenient alternative.  The returns are super simple, which helps a TON, too.

Just an idea — Stitch Fix also makes a GREAT gift idea! You can sign up or sign up for a gift card HERE.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!!

I love these posts and I think you look fabulous in pictures. I know your jewelery isn’t from StitchFix but I love how you’ve accessorized!

When my kids were Lucy’s age I think I looked frumpy because I felt like I was transitioning from pregnant, to nursing to “new normal”. You look glamourous and pulled together.

Sorry I am going a bit out of topic, but could you tell me which lipstick you are wearing in these pictures? I am fair skinned too and I think that colour might be just what I was looking for! Thanks for your help…
