This Week in Pop Culture… 11/21

Happy Thursday, everyone!!  It’s been a big week in pop culture — let’s get to it!!

First things first — Adam Levine was named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.  Do we all agree?  I think yes.  Although…I am waiting for Ryan Gosling to have his turn.  Still.  STILLLLLLL.

Also, Charlie Hunnam?  Seeing him on the cover wouldn’t make me mad.

How HOT is J Law at the LA Premier of Catching Fire?  In my opinion, she can do NO wrong.  LOVE her!!

Who is going to see the movie this weekend?  So excited!!

Ginnifer Goodwyn is expecting a baby with her fiance Josh Dallas.  How CUTE are they??  Congratulations!!

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are engaged!!  Now they just need a name.  Breester?  I don’t know, but I DO know that you don’t count as a couple until you have a combined name.

Side note — they are super cute together, aren’t they?

Last (and least)…Teresa Guidice.

Oh…Teresa.  Things are NOT going to end well this this situation.  Two more charges of bank and loan application fraud have been added to what she is already facing.  She and her husband Joe are facing 50 years in prison.  The trial is scheduled for February 24, 2014.

This weekend in theaters:

Catching Fire

The synopsis, according to Movie Insider:

Follows Katniss Everdeen who has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

Catching Fire is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, some frightening images, thematic elements, a suggestive situation and language.

Delivery Man

The synopsis, according to Movie Insider:

The story of affable underachiever David Wozniak, whose mundane life is turned upside down when he finds out that he fathered 533 children through sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. In debt to the mob, rejected by his pregnant girlfriend, things couldn’t look worse for David when he is hit with a lawsuit from 142 of the 533 twenty-somethings who want to know the identity of the donor. As David struggles to decide whether or not he should reveal his true identity, he embarks on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but the father he could become as well.

Have a great weekend!!
