Whatta Man Monday ~ Lone Survivor Edition!

Hello Ladies!

Let’s crank up this Monday with some supah hotties.  Because this week is on fiyah!!!!

Last week in our Scandal Edition Jake (Scott Foley) SMOKED Fitz (Tony Goldwyn).  I sorta agree, but it’s SO HARD!  But by the overwhelming win, I guess it isn’t TOO hard.

This week we’re going all current events on you.  I recently went and saw Lone Survivor.  I loved it.  Please, go see it.  As well as being so moved by the movie, it’s message and the theme I have to say that they eye candy wasn’t so bad.

So let’s take a look at the actors in the Lone Survivor…taking their “characters” out of it.  Because this is a true story and the men in the movie fought and died for our freedom.  It’s a true testament to the brotherhood that they feel to each other and I would never want to disrespect that.

Let’s have a look…

PicMonkey Collage4Clockwise from top left: Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch and Ben Foster.

I’m also gonna mention that Mark Wahlberg is a reoccurring contestant in our Whatta Man Mondays.  Can’t go wrong with a Boston guy, I guess.

Here they are all casual…

Again, this movie is a must see.  It’s bloody and graphic, but it’s based on the war that our men and women are fighting.  It was so so moving.

LOVE this post! I think you know who has my vote. Taylor Kitsch is my true love…don’t worry, Josh knows:)

I saw Lone Survivor at the premiere in Hollywood. It is an amazing film! It is hard to watch at times, but everyone needs to see it. Peter Berg did an outstanding job at telling the true story of these heroes.

And the opening scene with Taylor Kitsch…HOLY ABS! I will stop now:)

My husband and I have seen “Lone Survivor” twice now, I just couldn’t stop thinking about it, it made that much of an impact on me and I’d even read the book a few years back so it wasn’t like I didn’t know the story already. I’m thinking the actors they chose had something to do with that, I thought they all 4 really did an outstanding job of honoring and portraying those fallen soldiers. Of course, I was all “OH I wonder if TYRA knows that TIM RIGGINS joined the military and now is fighting for his life?!? Has she written to him?!? And Billy must be so proud of his little brother!” What is wrong with me? Oh that’s right Friday Night Lights addict for life. Anyways, that being said Tim Riggins, I mean Taylor Kitsch has my heart (and I think out of the 4 of them impressed me the most with his acting in this movie I mean WOW he nailed it) but Mark Wahlberg was a close second. I agree, everyone should see this movie and it should win ALL the awards, the end. And now I’m going to scroll back up to review the pictures again, you know for “research” purposes. :)
